DVD-40 charges as fast as chemically and electrically possible without damaging the battery. The unit will deliver a full charge at a minimum of only 85 volts of AC-input power. (Charger available in portable version only.)

• Charges two 100% discharged Deep Cycle (Group 27) batteries in four to five hours.
• Charges four batteries in eight to nine hours.
